Wonderful episode and such a vivid story whereby I could feel the area come alive in my mind as you were describing it. Must now add this city and specific neighborhood to the future visit list…..
This was so good, Danielle! We would go up to Arthur Avenue several times a year for shopping, but right before Easter was always just something special - the community, the vitality, the aromas! It felt so meaningful, plus, we would always go into the beautiful church to pay our respect, as that is who I am named in honor of, the Madonna del Carmine (Our Lady of Mount Carmel). The story of Cinelli is interesting and sad, particularly about the missing child. I hope to hear more, and I am loving your content. Grazie!

Easter is still the best time to go! That’s when so many traditions that are almost lost are all on display
That was fascinating! I am so hoping you find out more…
As someone who grew up in Brooklyn, I can hardly believe I ahve never seen Arthur Ave but you make me want to visit.
