I absolutely love Torino and all of Piemonte for that matter! It overflows with history and culture. The wines of the region are my favorites - both red and white. The food is wonderful. Milano is an easy airport. And Torino is a very clean, elegant version of Roma. It’s very easy to drive to the beautiful small towns and villages throughout the Langhe like LaMorra, Barolo, Asti, Bra, Alba……I kind of want to keep it a secret 🤫😉
I have flown into Turin, although not direct (thru Germany). It was a easy and not too expensive taxi right into the center. I have been there twice right after Thanksgiving, and though cool, still was sunny and beautiful. Think Dec. 1 starts the Christmas markets, which are smaller than many but still nice.
Malpensa. It’s on the outer northwest corner of greater Milan, so easy to drive to/from Piemonte. Trains accessible too; we took the high speed train (Italo) to Florence.
Such an underrated city. Love Torino - lived there for a year many moons ago!
Can't wait to hear more! Considering a trip this November or March... are both months good options?
It will be cold in November but all the better for Bicerin drinking. I was there in March and it was about the same weather as the northeast.

What Milan airport did you fly into? Assuming trains from both airports?
